God is BIG!

Even though yesterday was a "free" day...we kept very busy (therefore the lack of post!). It was a wonderful day. We got to visit the local market, then some people went to the dam to swim as well. All that went came back in awe of God's beauty because the dam was surrounded by mountains. Those of us that stayed back enjoyed rest and relaxation with each other in wonderful conversation and reading in the Word together. We then went out to dinner, authentic Domincan food! mmm :) We came back for more time with each other. So many people are reaching out of their comfort zone and sharing with people they normally wouldn't, it's been great!
We just had breakfast and are off to Church in a few moments...more later! Have a wonderful day!

  1. Thank you for keeping us posted and it sounds like its been a very fruitful trip. Do you have anymore pics to share? I have been looking at the weather reports for the area. Is it really over 100 degrees?

  2. I am so glad you all got to have a "day off!" I'm sure it was well deserved. I so have been enjoying the posts and feeling "connected" in some way. I am so anxious to have you all home safe and sound and hear all of the wonderful stories I know you will have to share! My prayers will continue daily for you.

  3. It is obvious that you are doing a great job of applying all that you studied in preparation for your trip to your work there as well as your relationships with the kids. So glad that you got some time to relax yesterday and enjoy each other's company as well. I am praying every time I think of you - which is often! Love to all of you! Catherine Martin
